Are you a visionary leader with a passion for faith-based leadership? A well-established international Christian organisation is seeking a Chief Executive Officer – Europe to provide strategic leadership and operational excellence, ensuring its mission is fulfilled across the region.

About the Role

As CEO – Europe, you will be responsible for leading and implementing the organisation’s mission in alignment with its global vision. Reporting to a committed Board of Trustees, you will work collaboratively to drive strategic direction while ensuring alignment with international leadership.

You will lead a dedicated and capable team, building on their strengths and seeking new ways to expand the organisation’s reach. This role requires an inspirational leader who can innovate, explore new approaches, and ensure long-term impact.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Strategic Leadership – Define and implement the organisation’s vision across Europe, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
✔ Operational Oversight – Manage financial, human, and physical resources to maintain sustainability, efficiency, and compliance.
✔ Faith-Based Leadership – Represent and uphold the organisation’s values and mission, promoting its work and initiatives.
✔ Regulatory Compliance – Ensure adherence to UK Charity and Company Law, as well as other relevant regulatory requirements.
✔ Stakeholder Engagement – Build and maintain relationships with partner churches, donors, and key stakeholders.
✔ Team Leadership – Foster a high-performing culture of integrity, transparency, and excellence.
✔ Innovative Ministry Growth – Identify new ways to expand the organisation’s message and impact in a changing world.

About You

We are looking for an inspiring leader who aligns with the values and mission of a Christian organisation and has the skills to drive its growth and influence. The ideal candidate will have:

✔ Faith-Based Leadership – A strong commitment to Christian values and a heart for ministry.
✔ Proven Executive Experience – Significant leadership experience, ideally within a faith-based organisation, charity, or nonprofit.
✔ Strategic & Operational Expertise – A strong track record of leading organisations and ensuring compliance with governance requirements.
✔ People Leadership – Ability to mentor, develop, and inspire teams in a diverse, cross-cultural setting.
✔ Financial Acumen – Experience managing budgets, financial planning, and ensuring financial transparency.
✔ Exceptional Communication – Skilled in public speaking, stakeholder engagement, and representing an organisation at high-profile events.
✔ Global Perspective – Understanding of the European cultural, social, and legal landscape, with the ability to adapt global objectives to a regional context.
✔ Willingness to Travel – Flexibility to travel internationally as required for meetings, conferences, and events.
