This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic and results-driven professional to shape long-term fundraising success while working flexibly across the UK.

About the Role

As a Fundraising Consultant, you will play a key role in developing and executing high-impact fundraising strategies. You will work closely with senior leadership and fundraising teams to identify new income opportunities, build donor relationships, and provide expert guidance on fundraising trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & Execute Fundraising Strategies – Create and implement innovative plans to secure sustainable income.
  • Donor Engagement & Relationship Management – Identify and cultivate relationships with high-value donors, trusts, and corporate partners.
  • Income Diversification – Advise on new fundraising streams, including major gifts, grants, corporate sponsorships, and community fundraising.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting – Track and evaluate fundraising success, providing insight-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Compliance & Best Practice – Ensure all fundraising activities align with UK charity regulations and ethical fundraising standards.

About You

We are seeking a proactive and strategic fundraising expert who can bring creativity and best practice to a mission-driven organisation.

  • Proven Fundraising Success – At least 5 years’ experience in charity fundraising, with a track record of growing income.
  • Strategic Thinking – Ability to develop and implement multi-channel fundraising plans.
  • Strong Relationship Builder – Experience engaging donors, trusts, corporates, and grant funders.
  • Excellent Communication Skills – Persuasive and confident in both written and verbal communication.
  • Project Management Expertise – Ability to manage multiple fundraising initiatives effectively.
  • Tech-Savvy – Proficiency in donor management systems and data-driven fundraising approaches.
  • Knowledge of UK Charity Sector – Familiarity with charity law, GDPR, and ethical fundraising best practices.
  • Flexibility & Willingness to Travel – Ability to attend occasional client meetings and sector events.
